Weekend

We've had Maverick for the weekend... didn't get to pick up the camera or get much post-processing done on photos, but it was worth it. :)  He has the best hugs :)

Last day of vacation... spent the day playing Wii with Maverick and converting RAW photos to TIF & JPG. Now to add watermark and upload.........  long process. Have reduce amount from 1000 to about 400. That helps :)

Wednesday, the Wildlife Center of Virginia will be releasing the three eaglets I have been following plus two others. Amazing. They will be doing a live feed of the event.......

Back Home

Exhausted, but worth it. Had a GREAT day with my sister yesterday. We left early in the morning and spent all day wandering back country roads.  I took just over 1000 pictures. Of course I won't keep them all, but it will take some time to go through them all and get them posted. Please keep checking back for the latest additions. My sister has 4 hens. They have 5 nests built, but it seems the girls like the togetherness and share 2 to a nest :)  Didn't get to get a picture of it... it was just too hot to hang out midday at the roost. It was 105 in the shade!!

Atlanta...... Texas that is :)

At my Mom's home out in the country. She lives on my sister's property. It is wildlife central here. My sister has 2 horses, 6 dogs, 4 chickens and bats..... Then there is the native wildlife. There are squirrels, lots of birds (mostly cardinals), deer, dragonflies, rabbits and a fat raccoon.

This weekend I will be in East Texas visiting my Mother and my Sister. Will leave early Friday and come home on Sunday.  Had to turn down a paying job, but feel this visit is important. My sister has had some health issues lately and I want to spend some time with her.
Hope to take lots of photos while there. They live in the middle of nowhere surrounded by a pine forest. Lots of critter subjects :)  Just 4 days more.........

Got to get some paying photo jobs or win the lotto... there are so many props I want to get.  Looking at vinyl backdrop/floors. Then need some posing props......... want to set up small studio in our spare room.
I am getting so many ideas on pics to take, but don't have the setups yet.

Have LOTS of Christmas decorations/props as well, but not posting now.  Have lots of ideas and just have to wait until I have some "spare" money to get them. Football, soccer ball, and basketball... Lots more crocheted stuff that I will buy or make myself...My sister has cut down a sapling for me to use with the hammocks. Will pick it up in 2 weeks. Want a poser so bad, but just can't afford now.Stores will be selling  Halloween stuff soon and I can get some cute outfits then.  I have a light kit I bought a while back but don't know how to set them up yet. Another project :) **sigh**

Just to give you an idea what I have to work with.  I have been collecting stuff for some time now and just recently have started using it all :D
Will divide into categories because there is so much.
Will start with Backdrops, blankets and drapes.

Muslin backdrops.... also have 10 ft. black diamond cloth

 Fur blankets: black and brown and two textures of white

rich velvets and brocades.. make great drapes for maternity and backdrops for babies

scarves make great drapes for maternity and can be used as hammock or backdrop for babies
