Still trying not to freak out... My external hard drive will all my photos from this year has a corrupted index file which means I can't access them. My youngest son works in IT and said there is a guy at his work that does just that, recover data from hard drives. Still waiting for him to come pick it up and take to work with him. In the meantime, my husband surprised me by ordering me a new external Hard Drive so I can start working on the photos I have taken since then. I have downloaded them to my husband's computer just so I can still take more. I am so lucky to have such a great, supportive husband. Next Saturday morning my husband and I will be at Brockdale Park for the Blackland Prairie Raptor Rescue photo op. Can't wait to take some wildlife photos..... hawks, owls and falcons........... Then the next day will be a photo session with my granddaughters, Kennedy and Blaire........stay tuned. :o)

For my submission I am using a photo of my nephew, Perry and his beautiful daughter, Cali. The love they share is so obvious as they played. This was such a fun session with the whole family just having fun.
This photo was submitted to the I Heart Faces photo challenge – www.iheartfaces.com

Earlier this week, I got a call asking to be a part of a school project for my Niece's youngest son. This project is right up my ally and I am pleased to help out Kyle any way I can ♥
This is what I received along with a cutout of a little boy.... Flat Kyle.
I school we read a book about a boy who got flattened by a bulletin board! His name is Flat Stanley! He wanted to go on a trip, so his family folded him up and mailed him to California.
I am mailing Flat Kyle to you. Please take him somewhere in your area, snap some photos of him on his visit and write back telling me where he went. If you have pictures, postcards or souvenirs of the place, please send them too. I will share your letter with my classmates. We are studing maps and globes, and will be interested in hearing about your part of the world.
Thank you for helping me with the project. I wish I could fold myself up and visit you! Please send your letter and Flat Kyle back to me as soon as possible at the return address on the envelope. (I read printing best.) I can't wait!
Well.... This will be fun. Flat Kyle got to me on Thursday and got to go to Maverick's baseball game.
Friday he went to work with me.
Saturday was a BIG day... We started the day with another baseball game....
Then back at the house, Flat Kyle played with Jager and got a kiss from him
Then he played with Maverick's Legos.
Next, Flat Kyle, Maverick and I went to a Carnival :o)
Then the Carrousel.....
Then the favorite of the day... the small Roller Coaster!!!

Tonight will be hard on the kids (and families there to support them) because of the cold front that swept in yesterday. It feels like winter again. Temp were down into the upper 30's this morning with some areas just north of us in a freeze warning. BURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.... Today's high will maybe be 60 degrees. The game starts at 6 pm so the temps will be starting to drop again. Hope they all have on thermals. Be looking for photos in the next couple of days. Game 3 will be on Saturday. Forecast for that game in the 70's.

The boys lost, but some valuable experience was gained. My grandson had a good day. He was the only child to come across home plate... only problem is that the batter was thrown out at first for the 3rd out. He was so disappointed that his run didn't count. But, that is baseball. Will do better next time. First game nerves are over and time to settle down. click HERE to see all the game photos.

Today is a day to reflect on hope and new beginnings. It is the day to remember that God loved us so much that he let his only son die for our sins to give us all that new beginning. Children all over are looking for those brightly colored eggs which symbolize that new chance we all are given. We were lucky enough to have our grandson spend the night with us and be able to again experience the joy of innocence and believing.
He has Risen!! God Bless and Happy Easter!
